At some point in chapter 16 of Final Fantasy VII remake, you’ll have to ascend the Shinra Building. The evil lair has around 60 floors, and you can choose to either take the stairs or the elevator. It seems like a no-brainer at first, but a lot of folks are worried they’ll miss out on something crucial if they take the sensible route. If you’re one of those experiencing mild dread because of the choice presented to you, this guide will show you what happens when you take the stairs or elevator in Shinra building in FF7 remake.
FF7 Remake Shinra Building Elevator or Stairs
Take the stairs or the elevator in Chapter 16?
On one hand, the elevator is fast. It’s so much faster than taking the stairs that it’s not even worth comparing the two, and you are a busy person. On the other hand, climbing the stairs is good for your cardio-vascular health. Both are equally tedious, but one takes longer.
On a more serious note, there’s really no meaningful difference. You’ll end up at the top either way. If you take the stairs, you’ll have a few bits of dialogue among crew members you otherwise wouldn’t get. If you take the elevator, you’ll get some dialogue that explains a bit more about Shinra. Neither are crucial, and there’s a couple of battles in the elevator that break the monotony.
Our choice was to disregard our health and take the elevator. Just like in real life. In the original game, there used to be some items on the stairwell that you couldn’t get in the elevator, but that was edited out, presumably to ease the anxiousness gamers tend to feel when they sense they’re missing out on things. Honestly, we don’t see why the stairs were left as an option at all.The post FF7 Remake Shinra Building Elevator or Stairs appeared first on GosuNoob.com Video Game News & Guides.
